Out of pocket cost for seeing Lisa under a mental health treatment plan: $98.15

Standard fees without rebates are:

1-hour psychology session: $240.00

1-hour telehealth session: $240.00

1-hour clinical supervision session: $180.00

The Australian Psychological Society (APS) recommended fee for a 46-55min appointment is $311.

Medicare Rebates

Clients who are referred by their GP under a Mental Health Treatment Plan or by their psychiatrist/pediatrician can access Medicare rebates for up to 10 individual psychology sessions per calendar year.

Medicare Rebate when seeing a Clinical Psychologist: $141.85

Clients can also access rebates from their private health provider. Rebates vary depending on your level of cover.
